Preventing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Many of us spend hours a day typing away on a computer keyboard, which can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome. Here are two exercises you can do daily to ward off any carpal tunnel symptoms.

1) Bend your elbows, bring your hands up in the air to about head level, and rotate your wrists in circles. Circle first to the right and then to the left. Do this for a total of two minutes.

2) Clench your fists gently and then spread your fingers wide open. Repeat ten times.

These exercises are most helpful when repeated frequently through the day.
